Challenges and opportunities to implement China's poverty reduction approach in developing countries: the case of Ethiopia.

Research Work

This research aimed to conduct raised from understanding that China has been successful in reducing poverty in its own country through its poverty reduction approach, which involves a combination of government policies, targeted investments, and social welfare programs. As a result, China has become a leading provider of development assistance to other developing countries, including Ethiopia.

However, implementing China's poverty reduction approach in other countries presents both challenges and opportunities. This research aims to explore these challenges and opportunities in the context of Ethiopia, a country that has received significant development assistance from China. The research will examine the impact of political instability, aid politics, and domestic resource mobilization on the implementation of China's poverty reduction approach in Ethiopia. It will also explore the role of social welfare programs and targeted investments in reducing poverty in Ethiopia.

The research will use the primary data from the interview of the targeted stakeholders and secondary data from various sources such as published reports, databases, and online resources. The data will be analyzed using statistical methods and qualitative analysis techniques.

The findings of this research will provide insights into the challenges and opportunities of implementing China's poverty reduction approach in developing countries like Ethiopia. The research will also contribute to the broader discussion on sustainable development and poverty reduction strategies in developing countries.

I am also interested in exploring issues related to the Impact of Political Instability, Poverty Reduction Strategies, foreign debt impact, Aid Politics and Domestic Resource Mobilization on Sustainable Development in Developing Countries.
