“Agriculture, A Tool for Development and Food Security in Madagascar” investigates the critical role of agriculture in promoting both economic development and food security in the island nation of Madagascar. This study delves into various aspects of agriculture in Madagascar, including its historical evolution, the challenges it faces, and its impact on rural livelihoods and overall development. It explores the economic implications of agriculture, its contribution to GDP, income distribution, and employment generation. Additionally, the research examines food security concerns in Madagascar, assessing the current state, challenges in food production and distribution, and strategies to enhance food security. By addressing these key areas, the research aims to provide valuable insights and recommendations to policymakers, stakeholders, and researchers interested in sustainable development and food security in Madagascar.
